The area we had chosen for the liberation of the war prisoners Luis Alfonso Beltrán, César Augusto Laso, Carlos José Duarte, Jorge Trujillo, Jorge Humberto Romero y José LibardoForero, all of them members of the State´s armed forces, captured in combat, has been militarized without any justification by the Colombian government, which obliges us to postpone the liberation.

Patriot military had already alerted us about the intentions of the Santos government to carry out a military rescue at all costs, without being concerned about the fact that this could end up in a sorrowful result, like on the 26th of November last year. This attitude is according to the government´s recent decision to obstruct international humanitarian participation in the announced liberation.

We want to liberate them alive, but it seems as if the government prefers to hand them over in catafalques to their families.
Despite these circumstances, honored ladies, our unilateral determination, emerged from the FARC-EP´s political sovereignty and from a deep feeling of humanity, is still in force. As soon as the insanity which has taken over the Nariño Palace abates, we will give it another try so that you can receive the ones who will be liberated.
